Job Description:
1. Research and devise effective go-to-market strategies and assist in the refinement of the overall marketing plan
2. Develop segment-specific marketing communications based on company goals, brand, and market initiatives
3. Work closely with the engineering team in creating and implementing search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) programs
4. Develop metrics and establish analytics for key performance criteria for online and offline marketing campaigns
5. Assist management team in ensuring efficient progress of workflow and transforming business visions into reality
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Higher Degree in marketing, economics, business, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, or engineering
Experience: 3+ years in consumer marketing, with 2+ years in the Internet space; subscription business experience (magazines, ISPs, cable, wireless, etc.) would be a plus
Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated interest or experience in marketing, analytics, journalism, communications, public relations, or related fields
2. Possess a balance of disciplined strategic thinking, creative passion, and a willingness to be hands-on
3. Experience with consumer-facing, interactive web sites, preferably online matchmaking and social networking/community sites
4. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
5. Demonstrated success in bringing products to market for the consumer or corporate markets
6. Experience in analytics or a flair for the application of mathematical models to business problems would be a plus
